Sarband is the Farsi word for ” being at the mountain’s summit’. It was named after a canyon in Old Teheran where rustic restaurants perched on the rocks, offered mouthwatering grills and mezze. Diners would sit on traditional day beds covered in beautiful Persian carpet or gather around dinner tables to enjoy their meal and the view.
Sarband at Century Village specializes in Persian cuisine: savoury mezze dishes and mouth watering kebabs are to be enjoyed with homemade bread.
Different aromatic rice dishes are also on the menu for lunch & dinner. The selection spans the classical pilaf as well as more elaborate traditional recipes.
The restaurant is fully licensed which means meals can be enjoyed with the paired wines from Sarband’s extensive cellar. Seating arrangements have also the famous Persian beds on the terrace which guarantees to turn your meal into a very traditional experience.
